A chord of a circle of radius $\sqrt{6}cm$subtends an angle of 30oon the circumference of circle. Find the length of the chord

$\begin{align}  & \left| AD \right|=\left| AO \right|\cos {{30}^{\circ }}=\sqrt{6}\times \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}=\frac{3\sqrt{2}}{2} \\ & \left| AB \right|=2\left| AD \right|=2\times \frac{3\sqrt{2}}{2}=3\sqrt{2}cm \\\end{align}$
