$\begin{align}  & \left| \begin{matrix}   2 & 3  \\   5 & 3x  \\\end{matrix} \right|=\left| \begin{matrix}   4 & 1  \\   3 & 2x  \\\end{matrix} \right| \\ & 6x-15=8x-3 \\ & 8x-6x=-15+3 \\ & 2x=-12 \\ & x=-6 \\\end{align}$
