Jambmaths question: 

A circle of perimeter 28cm is opened to form a square. What is the maximum possible area of the square?

Option A: 

98cm2

Option B:

Jamb Maths Solution: 

Total length (or perimeter) of the circle is 28cm

Since a square has 4 sides, each sides will be  $\frac{28}{4}=7cm$

The area of the square will 72cm2 = 49cm2
