$7\tfrac{1}{12}-4\tfrac{3}{4}+2\tfrac{1}{2}=\tfrac{85}{12}-\tfrac{19}{4}+\tfrac{5}{2}=\tfrac{85-57+30}{12}=\tfrac{58}{12}=4\tfrac{5}{6}$
