If $\log 2=x,\log 3=y\text{ and }\log 7=z$ find, in term of x, y and z. The value of $\log (\tfrac{28}{3})$

$2x+y=z$

$2x+z-y$

$x+y-2z$

waecmaths solution: 

$\begin{align}  & \log \left( \frac{28}{3} \right)=\log (4\times 7)-\log 3 \\ & =\log 4+log7-log3 \\ & =log{{2}^{2}}+\log 7-log3 \\ & =2\log 2+\log 7-\log 3 \\ & =2x+z-y \end{align}$
